I actually like this news. The Paul George thing was frightening. I'm glad Dame's not there risking injury. He got the positive experience of working with those guys, but I think he needs one more year of real work on his game to get to that level.
What's wrong with being hurtful and degrading? You got something against hurtful and degrading? My father would have told you to stand up like a man. What did you say? "Frankly, HCP, I don't give a damn." Nobody cares any more about the word "damn." Get with the times.
Parsons and Korver didn't make it? They seemed to play a lot. Cousins, Drummond, and Plumlee made it? This went against conventional wisdom (predictions of recent days).
The fact that Parsons didn't make it (and that Drummond, Cousins and DeRozan did) is more surprising. All of this is pretty irrelevant: you could pick the select team and it would probably make the final. I'm pretty happy with this. Now I can root against team USA with zero qualms. [Edit: I wonder of Parsons not making it had something to do with Mark Cuban?]
Plumlee made the team and Lillard (and Parson's) didn't? What the fuck Team USA? And, they went with 3 Centers - Davis, Cousins and Drummond - none of whom can hit the 3 ball (international style). Are they really all going to get steady minutes? Very doubtful.
I'm with you on this! Rest + Dame maybe feeling a bit slighted = hello regular season, have you met Dame?
Something tells me there was a hush hush that Plumlee was told he was going to make the team weeks ago. My source? My conspiracy theory angle!
