Jazz are gonna make the playoffs. Not sure who will drop off but their roster is stacked and due to make a jump this year.
CJ couldn't throw a basketball in the ocean tonight, Kaman went down with a cut in back of his head from the defenders teeth. Bunch of turnovers at the end. Without Blake and Kaman, only Barton contributed much though Freeland played good defense and Wright had a good first half.
No they won't. They'd have to improve by at least 25 games to make the playoffs this year (I think it's fair to say 50 games is what teams will need to make the playoffs). Portland improved by 21 games last year and that is uncommon.
Jazz with the new coach played the starters big minutes almost every preseason game. Most teams didn't. I think their success came from playing other teams bench players for the most part
The Denver coach ran it like an exhibition game's supposed to be played, to risk the loss in order to try new things. Their best player Lawson didn't play. Our subs are stuck in a rut, not developing for years because of Stotts.
I don't think Shaw is even close to Stotts as a coach. The Lakers didn't even want him after he was an assistant for 7 years and a player there. They didn't move the ball tonight, rebound or defend well. Stotts out coached Shaw in embarrassing fashion tonight
You need to post more, this thread didn't come close to the Stampede threads you made. All these guys argue about the right to start game threads and then don't post in them..go figure
Ah, good to bask in the warmth of my fans again. I got a new computer 2 weeks ago and I've been diverted by games. Before that I spent a couple of months searching. I picked a good time, the off-season.
No problem, you have plenty of time to get your techical department ready for the Mad Ants opener game thread on November 15.
