Uhhhh, no they don't bgd. You release the shot button based on a player's form. Although love does give you color schemes based on if a guy has a higher percentage of making a shot, but it doesnt have the actual meter telling you when to release the button
It tells you where guys are more accurate for shots. It also tells you when to release the button to make a shot. It's so newbs can actually play in games against skilled 2k ballers. Worst thing ever
You can, but the main reason I like nba games is playing people online. I can't turn it off and let the guy I'm playing have an unfair advantage
2k is better because of all the peripherals added to the game. From a purely gameplay standpoint I enjoy live more this year. Live took a giant step forward in gameplay, where 2k took a step back because of the shot meter
Anyone else played it yet? The Blazers are legit in this game. I've been schooling kids online. I got disconnected a few times which counted as a loss which was lame.
2k all day! Live has a lot of catching up to do, but they might be smart to keep the game more arcady like the video I saw to fill that niche in the basketball video game market. I have a lot of affection for the NBA Live series and I hope they continue to make improvements and get back in the game, but 2k is way ahead right now.
I've always been a 2K guy myself. I haven't played the newest yet. I wonder if the shot meter is really as bad as people make it out to be.
