The truth is none of the Blazers players really have much experience when it comes to big games in the playoffs.
It feels like the conversation has with himself goes a little something like this: (rubbing his hands together and sighing) "Ok Ray it time pick a team and get back in the league for the stretch run, let's see who is doing well this season and who is a contender. Alright ... Cleveland .... Chicago ... the Clippers ... Port-land? Hmmph ... never heard of them."
I just don't want to support his "cherry picking" teams that have a chance to win - basically F him is my opinion
I get what you are saying but most contenders do it. Even SAS has done it in the past. I just want this team to be good enough to be considered even if we never do it or need to do it.
Well to that I say Rep'd for staying firm. And I would take it a step further and F him to anyone that doesnt respect this team. I hope the players take the same attitude
Yeah the more I think about it, the more I wouldn't want that cherry picking ass. Let's bring in our bench. I actually think the players we have now are enough. And do we really need to win this year? Couldn't we make it to the WCF with this squad? I think so. And if we get there, then we have a shot at going to the finals.
I think Ray Allen is waiting to sign with whoever is a contender & wants him. I'm not for adding a guy in a situation like that because it messes with chemistry. This is the kind of move that either pushes you over the top, or screws everything up. I'd probably go for it because it's Ray allen.
The guy played in Seattle. Plus, we have two superstars one of whom is on TV in commercials constantly, not to mention Conan, NBA Live, etc.
