On the SCORE, it was reported that J. Reinsdorf's grandson lobbied granddad for the AS game. I can relate to how hard it is to say no to your grandchildren. Though Reinsdorf always said that he didn't want the AS game because his season ticket holders didn't get priority treatment, it probably had more with the fact that the league completely controls the event and it's a "take it or leave it" proposition for the hosting team. Reinsdorf is a deal maker...it's in his genes. When presented with a "take it or leave it" deal, Reinsdorf's DNA says "leave it." Frankly, I don't care since I find the NBA AS game to be unwatchable.
