    I’m tired of topics that get everybody sniping at each other. Let’s talk food. And the best place to start is with breakfast! My top five;

    Word Of Mouth Bistro (Salem)
    Otis Cafe (Otis)
    Mother’s Bistro (Downtown Portland)
    La Provence (several around PDX)
    Original Hotcake House

    Does anyone care? Can we do this without pissing on each other’s legs?

    Seriously though, this is a good topic that I'm of no use to being in Nevada. Breakfast places need to be really good for me to like them though, because I can make a pretty good omelet myself.

    Original Pancake House, Original Pancake House, Original Pancake House. They also serve Boyd's coffee (excellent). Try their apple pancakes and bacon.

    Oh man, Otis Cafe. A little known gem in Lincoln City.

    Downtown here, I love Byways Cafe, Kenny & Zukes, Isabels.

    Y’all have some great choices listed, mothers and Tasty n Sons are tops for sure.

    But Breakfast is such an easy meal to make incredible at home. Step 1) buy excellent bacon. Step 2) Cook the bacon just right where it’s crispy as hell but shy of burnt, Step 3) make other stuff to pair with the bacon, Step 4) Eat the bacon and other stuff.

    Edit : riverman is correct, great coffee too

    Yeah, same with the Screen Door. Decent food but not worth the wait.
