I don't care who owns youtube...I don't use Facebook...you don't have to use either...I control my viewing or listening content...just like I control what I choose to read. Google doesn't bother me...places I can find on Google might bother me...I don't search that content though just like I don't read about who Brad Pitt is dating or how big Kim Kardashians butt is...I grew up reading the newspaper and read only what interested me....then it stoked my woodstove kindling..nobody has to be a victim to stupid feeds on a website or entertainment tonight content...

He said banned on every major platform most of his fans listen on. They essentially took away so much of his viewership all because they don’t agree with his opinion. If you’re okay with that then, wow. I see the same dumb arguments. “He said that one thing about sandy hook”, yes many years ago and backed off it and apologized about a year ago. “He can still post it on his website”. That’s not the point. This is going over some of your heads. This isn’t YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Facebook, and it happened all at once. These platforms were designed for people to speak freely. Not silence somebody for their opinion unless it actually is hate speech then yeah shut it down. However it’s not

the main point is that these are big companies doing this. Yeah it doesn’t affect you. It ultimately doesn’t affect me. It rubs me the wrong way though because of the fact they can just censor somebody like that. That’s not a good sign generally

You're not wrong most would be up in arms.
    But I wouldn't.
Unless the company is funded by the government, aka getting taxpayer money.
Then imo the company is allowed to make their own decisions.

I personally don't agree that certain bakeries were 'protested against' for refusing x.
But I'm aware, like a lot of my thoughts. I'm in the minority.

what problem do you have going to his website and listening to his show? it's simple to find the guy without the use of other websites.

They can cancel advertising anytime they want....big companies have their own marketing departments and owners can do what they want with them....you don't have to support them and you can still get any controversial content you want on the net....they don't have to give a shit if it bothers you or not just like Jones doesn't have to give a shit if he bothers me or not....choices

They have already done that. You probably don’t know but most bigger you tubers have actually had problems with YouTube because YouTube demonitizes so many videos even if you curse in them so you can’t make money off of them. I would bet a lot of Alex jones videos were demonitized, many are before they are even uploaded and in the process because of YouTube’s algorithm. This isn’t about Alex jones at this point, it’s about these companies being able to shut down free speech and do whatever they want

So just dump youtube….you have a problem with them..don't support them...but that doesn't change the way they choose to do business

Yeah life is bigger than infowars. Which is why I like my freedom of speech. Which may or may not affect my future here in this life because these large companies and people have the same ideology of just censoring and shutting out people that simply disagree with and then jump to calling them racists or what they are saying is hate speech.

YouTube is not a small company river. Matter of fact there are so many videos you can find under YouTube that you could decalare as hate speech that are still up. I’m not saying fuck YouTube. This is about big companies that like to control and take your data and use it against you.

you give large companies more power over your self than you need to in my opinion....the entire internet is run by powerful companies...your computer is made by powerful companies....on and on...you support them with your expendable income or you don't you could however open your own website devoted to uncensored video content.

Not an Alex Jones fan, but when a handful of companies monopolize the flow of content for an overwhelming portion of the populace, those companies have an inherent responsibility to fairly vet content. I can go on YouTube RIGHT NOW and find shit infinitely more offensive or obscene than anything Alex Jones produces. Alex Jones was silenced because he has a ton of viewers and his views don't align with the CEOs of these powerful companies. They actually view him as a threat, which is petty and hilarious.

Alex Jones should have had someone making wedding cakes for gay people in his videos.

These companies have zero responsibility to you to do anything...they can dump any content they want to...just like TV stations...it's their site, not yours or mine....you can write them and complain...or not support them...and these companies are not monopolies....you have clear choices to view anything you want but they don't have to provide you with the platform..they don't view him as a threat...just an unnecessary irritant for whatever reason they choose...the world isn't going to be outraged because this whackjob's 15 minutes of fame are in the toilet...that's on him. You can subscribe to his news and video feed anytime you want.
