    'You pale c***sucker': Nets star Kevin Durant unleashes vile, homophobic Instagram rant at actor Michael Rapaport, involves the diehard NBA fan's wife and threatens to SPIT on him
    • Actor Michael Rapaport has revealed a private war of words with Kevin Durant over social media in which the Nets star used a string of homophobic slurs
    • The Nets star referenced Rapaport's wife and threatened to spit on him while directing misogynistic and homophobic insults at the actor-turned-podcaster
    • Durant poked fun at Rapaport's failed defamation lawsuit against Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy over a t-shirt depicting the 51-year-old with herpes
    • Durant has apologized for the rant that Rapaport revealed in a series of screen grabs on Twitter. However, Durant also minimized the fight as just friendly banter
    • Judging by the screen shots, the exchange appears to have started in December after Durant had an awkward post-game interview with TNT's Charles Barkley
    • It is unclear if Durant could face any league punishment for the private exchange
    • Durant and Rapaport previously had a friendly relationship and even made a light-hearted video in which Rapaport begs the two-time NBA champ for tickets

    You have to know that Rappaport gives as good as he gets. It's all a joke. Not one word of that is serious. Rappaport should have NEVER went public with private messages.

    Don't even know why this had to go public. I love Rapaport, but I don't know what he's doing or trying to accomplish here.

    On that note, atypical is a great fucking show and you should watch it. He's great in it as is everyone else.

    I think it's crazy that anyone would defend KD on this (or anything). I can think of no player as petty in the history of the NBA. If this was say reversed and Michael Rapaport was uttering these homophobic and threatening things, can you imagine the blowback? KD is not a good person.
