...its because they will still have plenty of player assets to easily liquidate for draft capital :dunno:

Oubre, Markannen, or others of that caliber for TPMLE is a great additional piece. That said, what we desperately need is a TRADE. I just wanted to be the first on the board to point this out this summer. /s

Just because it isn't always true doesn't mean it doesn't matter. Citing his vertical as evidence that it makes up for lack of height is silly.

Someone that can reach 11ft with a 20in vertical is going to block a lot more shots that someone who can reach 11ft with a 30in vertical.

    We have two options.

1: trade Dame for a massive package with a bunch of picks and start over

2: use our future pick assets to get someone Dame will be happy with and feel like we tried to get him a more talented roster

Agree. Throwing every first rounder possible for Ben Simmons would scare the shit out of me if I’m Neil or any blazer fan. Unless you are getting a generational talent, hell no.

Saw something earlier on twitter that said those discussions happened before the draft with Toronto. And who knows how all of that goes. But obviously, post draft, there's always time to rekindle those talks. Toronto drafted a potential replacement for Siakim in Barnes. And at the time, we didn't have Powell locked in. Could be that discussions were tabled because Neil didn't want to risk Powell walking, and losing CJ without someone to fill his spot? Not getting my hopes up on anything happening, of course. Just saying, it makes more sense to wait on any CJ trade until after free agency, with Powell. Maybe those talks start back up now that each team has a replacement.
Still, makes no sense for Toronto, with FVV and GTJ there. If they're trying to win now, they keep Siakim. If they're not, they don't add CJ. The rumor has some weird scents attached on the old smell test.

If true, that is another count for the indictment of Neil!

I honestly think Neil won’t trade CJ because it’s the best player he has drafted here. I know he technically drafted Dame but didn’t Buchanan do all the research on that draft, pretty sure Neil showed up 2 weeks before the Dame draft.

Olshey probably can't help himself and will sign Avery Bradley. He needs another 6'3ish guard on the team.

Jrue Holiday is not a generational talent and I don't think the Bucks' GM or the fans are kicking themselves for sending all of those picks and swaps.

Weren't they in talks to give Lauri Markkanen an offer sheet?

They have 13.5M left. I guess they're just deciding who to blow it on.

OK take out the vertical part of my statement. You still have a guy who is under 6'1 with a 6'10 wingspan. He is tall enough.
