Well the Panthers are a good football team they did finish 7-9 last season but they had a injury induced nightmare start but the Panthers finished really well at the end and it looks like this year the Panthers might be in alittle better because of the confidence they got back at the end of last year.Jake Delhomme is a great quarterback he is so underated last year with the injurys to the Half backs Delhomme threw for over 3800 yards and 29 touchdowns.. not to shabby for a guy who was once back up behind Aroon Brooke for many years. At the running back position that is where the team has alot of depth when both Foster and Davis went down last season Nick Going came in and had over 800 yards and 6 touchdowns not to shabby for a thrid string runningback. This year im hoping Davis and Foster can aviod injury problems because with all due respect for Going I dont think he's as good as Foster of Davis. At reciever Muhammad will be missed quite abit (who doesn't miss 1405 yards and 14 touchdowns) but I think Steve Smith and Colbert are ready to step there game to the next level. Proehl is also a good thrid reciever so Delhomme will have alot of opions even though Muhammad is gone.At the defencive line this is the defence's strong point. Julius Peppers had 11 sacks and two interceptions (one for a 97 yard touchdown.. how many D-line man can do that?) with Brenston Bucker and Kris Jenkins operating in the middle and Mike Rucker being the other end I see no reason why this d-line wont scare every team they play.At line backer there's MLB Dan Morgan as the stud of the linebacking core but Will Witherspoon you have a guy who replaced fields last year and had over 107 tackles, you get a gamer. Now Brandon Short, and Vinny Ciuciu should battle it out for a starter's role. The secondary has alot of depth. SS Mike Minters, Chris Gamble, Ricky Manning, and former Seahawk Ken Lucas makes a good group former Colt Idrees Bashir or Colin Branch will fight for the FS spot I personaly think Bashir is the better player but we will see how training camp goes. The panthers have had some tough years and after going 12-4 and going to the super bowl, to go back down to 7-9 really must be frusterating but I can say the Panthers will make the playoffs this year if they remain healthy.

Great read, and I have to agree with you, I think if the Panthers can stay healthy this season, they will find themselves in the playoffs at the end of the year. They have a lot of talent, and depth, if they can avoid the injury bug, they can have a pretty good year IMO.Keep writing man, I love your stuff [IMG]

I really didn't say much about there o-line though I kind of forgot but thanks for the comments. I'm a hockey guy first and for most but I love football almost as much.

I wish that'll be the NFC Championship, my 2 teams!
