    You are correct.
""It allows teams in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter or overtime to advance the ball to halfcourt by simply calling a timeout. In other words, after securing a rebound or after an opponent's made basket, a team can advance the ball without any time coming off the clock."

Hey, apparently Zach Collins is finally justifying being picked above Bam Adebayo. (The assist numbers are particularly surprising. And Bam is a pretty mediocre rebounder.)

I'm going to say something extremely shocking and quite controversial... I'd take Bam. I know I must sound crazy but not only would I take Bam over Zach, I would trade a lot of assets for Bam and I don't think I would trade more than a second rounder or two for Zach.

I've thought about a scenario where we win the lotto and decide to draft Wemby and if we did I think it would be a good trade to send Ant, Nurk (despite Nurk getting more rebounds per minute than Bam) and up to 3 lightly protected future firsts for Bam and Duncan Robinson's shitty contract. I think it would be smart. Those stats you put up don't really tell you everything you can learn by watching the two guys... Bam just moves a whole helluva lot better than Zach and Bam has been durable and productive on winning teams.

If we did the deal I'm talking about we would still need to acquire a backup PG and probably a backup C but before doing that we would have a rotation next season of Dame, Shaedon, Jerami, Bam, Wemby, Matisse (assuming we decide to re-sign him), Nas, possibly Cam and Trendon. I'd be excited to see what that combination of players could do... I think if you add to that a good backup point guard (who could probably be signed for the miniMLE) and good backup big (who could probably be acquired either with a vet min contract or a second round pick) and I think you have a team that would be very competitive.

I doubt that we win the lotto, so I doubt we have to worry about all of that but again I would take Bam over Zach and I'd pay a lot to do so.

Someone check in on Mark Cuban… this is an epic tragedy (or comedy, depending on how you look at it).

We could’ve passed Dallas if we weren’t tanking.

Just realized Dallas retains their pick if it’s top 10, or it conveys to New York if 11 (KP trade).

They’re right there with Chicago right now.

Speaking of Dallas, I heard from a friend who claims to have a source that says the Mavericks feel confident about landing Grant as a free agent. I did find it odd that out of the blue, he would text me about this. Why would Grant, of all players, be someone Cuban is targeting? Being a Syracuse alum (like Jerami) my friend follows him closely. (He is a Celtics fan, not a Mavs fan)

Personally, I think that whoever pays Grant the most is where he will end up. But I can't help but wonder if there are any sign-and-trade options with Dallas. Of course, if they lose Kyrie they could have cap space to sign him outright.

Kyrie had this man ejected from the game today. Don't know what was said or done.

Not saying your sources are bad but Dallas is famous for having best laid plans and having them completely shatter. DeAndre Jordan, Kyle Lowry, the list goes on.

Throwing the player capital out the door, Dallas blew a first and two seconds on Kyrie. That indicates they’re primarily interested in bringing back Kyrie.

If they miss on Kyrie, it might be too late to lock in Grant by the time they’re moved on to backup options…

    DC United, lol.

I love the ejection trend with fans in those seats. Just because you dropped hundreds/thousands of dollars to sit up close doesn’t mean you have the right to act like an inhumane asshat. Shut the fuck up and eat your popcorn.

True but if the Mavs continue to play poorly and miss the playoffs, will Kyrie want to go back? Probably just so he can get the max. But that is why I was wondering about sign and trade options.

Kyrie is going to go to the team that pays him the most money. Just like Jerami Grant.

Wow Mavs are really bad. And their pick goes to the Knicks if it's not a top 10 pick. They might miss the Playoffs and don't even have their first

If it's true that they're targeting Grant, that seems to be a good sign that he's not worth keeping. Dallas fucks things up all the time.

Why would the Mavs trade Luka and *not* demand the 1st pick?? That rocket fan is delusional.

NY needs to go on a winning streak. They have lost 3 in a row now. (4-6 in their last 10)
They have an easy schedule coming up but so do the 2 teams right behind them. I would be happy if they ended in 6th, but 7th on the other hand is too risky for us.

Rockets ain't giving up Wemby for Fat Luka. Yes, he's likely delusional, but Mavs are delusional if they demand this year's #1 from any team.
