OT Why Never Trumpers Should Bet on DeSantis Now

Yup...the 60's was a scary time in our history, with both horrible calamities as well as incredible landmark accomplishments.

Yup, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, but for the last few years, I wonder why I was only given the choice between Biden vs Trump and Clinton vs Trump ?


...and all of a sudden, in a moment of clarity, I think to myself, "wait a f'n minute, are these people really the best this country has to offer?"

We all have to eat humble pie sometimes, nice to someone eat it humbly for a change.

 

Well, did you look at everyone else running during both those years? Ricky Rubio, Jeb!, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, those are the names I can think of on the right? Are any of them better than Trump? Chris Christie… maybe?

Bernie Sanders, Jay Inslee, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren for Dems. Out of those 5 you can make the argument they are all better than Biden I guess, but would any of them be able to beat Trump? I have my doubts.

I really don’t get the Biden hate, the guys been a pretty damn good president when you put things in perspective and add context. He bungled the Afghanistan withdrawal, outside of that I can’t think of another major failure but can think of many accomplishments.

 

Though Biden was not my first choice, I did vote for him, mainly because I obviously could not bring myself to vote for Trump...in my view, a vote for Biden was also a vote against Trump.

Considering the pile of shit that Trump left for Biden, Joe hasn't done a bad job...and I'm actually hoping Trump gets the GOP nod again next year...that way, Biden will win by a large margin.



Also wouldn't mind voting for a suitable independent but they probably wouldn't have much of a chance ... hell, I'd consider Liz Cheney...and oh, term limits for both houses and SC judges.

 

DeSantis now. DeSantis forever.
