Respectfully, in the CP3/Horford model of it, Presti would be taking picks from Portland for them taking on Dame. Now I did also consider this, given that they have 4 2024 first round picks. But they seem to flip those closer to the draft when teams start to think about moving a future first and 2nds for one today. As an exercise, I’d go Jalen Williams, Bertans, filler, and 3 firsts—Dame gives them an Uber to the WCF. Then Presti flips him next summer for something else.
Dame in OKC with Chet, SGA, Poku, etc would be dangerous! I left out Giddey, because that is who I would want back. It would be almost impossible to do for now due to some of the salaries that would be needed, need a couple of months before they are available for a trade. There are certainly plenty of Draft picks available from OKC. But trading within the Conference/Division?

I'd kind of like Isaiah Joe too getting Giddey (ball-handling and facilitation) and Joe (perimeter shooting) pretty much eliminates the reasons to keep Ant around...that's a big bonus in my view Blazers would have to take back Bertrans & Oladipo; probably Gay to match salary. Dipo and Gay are expiring contracts; Betrans only has 5M guaranteed in 2024-25 I'm assuming after 'giving away' Giddey, Williams, and Joe, OKC would not want to give away a lot of draft picks. But they'd have to add 2 or 3 first's plus a couple of 2nd's I really doubt the 'sources' though

It’s certainly unconventional but it makes sense for both teams. By the time Scoot and Sharpe are ready to make some noise, Dame might be ready to ironically come back to Portland to retire here. Also, its pretty low risk for PKC worst case they trade Dame at the deadline or next summer to a contender and Dame will be ecstatic to go to ANY contender.
And what goes unsaid is the fact that if we can't make Miami work for Dame, in terms of lifestyle and glamour, Oklahoma City is virtually indistinguishable from South Beach.
