Pretty sure he played at Dayton last year. Some scouts (and me in the little I watched) actually really liked him as a second round flyer. He was a late bloomer, became a solid standstill 3-pt. shooter, and his an excellent rebounder for his size and position. I'm not going to sell him as great, but he is at least intriguing as second round pick.
I am not. I was confused because of this: That is, the first team we'll be playing in Preseason is the NZ Breakers (probably because of Rupert).

I'll admit I'm interested to hear Cronin's words and tone in introducing Camara. He'll obviously say that they liked him, but I am curious if they actually sought him out as a prospect (rather than a throw-in).
If he turns out to be better and healthier than Nas this will be a big upgrade....I read this kid likes to play defense.
These Sun's fans say he "balled out" in the summer league. "He looked like he was ready. He didn't take a bad shot. He didn't make a bad basketball play. He looks fundamentally sound and ready to play ball..."
Drew Eubanks had pick & roll poster dunks. I didn't see anyone spending an entire podcast raving about Eubanks skillset. Camara is a young baller, i'm gonna keep expectations low, give him time to develop.
Interested to see what Camara's gonna bring to the table this season, he's been improving. I'm new on the forum but a HUGE college basketball fan so I not only saw Camara at Dayton but I saw him back at Georgia too. He's got a solid build for todays NBA n hes a good athlete. He had a really big uptick in his shooting last season so if he can keep that momentum n improve on it, he'll payoff big because hes easily athletic enough n a solid 6'8.
