swap rights in 2028, unprotected in 2029, swap rights in 2030. Could have massive value in the future.
this is kind of ridiculous can we just consolidate all picks watch treads into a simple draft thread?
Yes swaps trade. We have a pick in this upcoming draft in the second round that is the more favorable of Charlotte's and Minnesota's 2024 second round picks.
that's too far out. I can't think about freshman currently in high school becoming Blazers in 5 years. The Bucks pick is a tradable asset. If the Blazers get really good really fast, they can amplify win now talent. Always good to have spare picks in case the gate opens up for the road to a championship.
Cronin got a real value here. The bucks have no draft capital to help their aging team. By extending their window with DAME, he devalued the picks they owe new Orleans, when 2028 rolls around dame will be 38, the lopez bros will be 40, Middleton is 37, giannis and portis are 33. It means that if they keep giannis, they have a Portland 2022 situation, an aging star with a depleted roster. These picks will be very useful unless giannis asks for a trade and they get assetsto rebuild before the late 2020s. We should all hope that giannis extends and they are spending the next 3-4 years trying to get rings.
I learned in another post that in the CJ trade we got back MIL's unprotected 2024 pick. #30 here we come!
I didn’t actually consider using them as potential trade assets. That’s interesting. If the timeline accelerates, could be something to watch for sure. and no, I’m still not on Flagg or bust time lol
I'd be curious to know what Miami would offer Milwaukie for Dame if he became available again? The same basic package or no? Have they changed their mind on his value? No longer interested? They were soo butt hurt! lol
The Bucks didn't look good being outscored in every quarter in their loss the previous night in Brooklyn.
Well, I have not seen that game. But, that team have not looked bad against the best team in the league, so I think we are too early in claiming them dead. Not a huge surprise that a veteran team did not get up to play one of the worst teams in the league, that happens...
