I've opened many controversial thread over the years, i'm afraid this one may top all of them I'm not stating that Scoot is a bust, but i'm starting to ask why shouldn't he be after watching him this preseason games - He can't shoot - He's not as fast/athletic as advertised - He's not that good of a playmaker - He can't defend without fouling He doesn't seem to fit the 2023 style of basketball What do you guys think?
It would have been much easier if you posted: " Hey, any take I ever make will never mean anything because I only care to say things to rile up a fan base of a team I'm showing I care nothing about. Because if I did, I would actually post useful things at least once a decade. But I don't". This is what you really meant to write. Glad I could do that for you. Cheers!
I knew you weren't ready to discuss that... I wanted Scoot as much as you and i'm not saying that he's 100% a bust after 3 games, but honestly i couldn't be more worried after these preseason games Just wanted to discuss that, it's not final judge, i hope he wins ROY and at the end of the season i'm here to say that he wasn't a bust
Scoot has struggled so far in tonight’s game. But a bust? can you at-least wait fir a few regular season games? he hasn’t even been that bad besides tonight. I do applaud asking the tough questions though and trying to be unbiased , But we need a bigger sample size for a fair evaluation. Not to mention he’s only 19.
bust related to the expectations that we had on him winning ROY and looking like a potential All Star/Superstar
Really, really early to be making this thread. He’s a good playmaker, our guys can’t make shots, so I’m not sure what you’re watching as far as that goes.
He was marketed like crazy, and yes he's talented but in the NBA everyone is talented in some way. He's a young pg and they take a while to develop.
oh c'mon, nearly everybody had him on the race for ROY, he's the 3rd overall pick not a pick in the 2nd round
Prior to tonight (in which he has been undoubtedly bad), he has averaged 16/6 in 28 mpg. There's no reason to even suggest "bust". This is a stupid thread
it was a thread made to draw attention. and looks like it succeeded. why are you keeping this nonsense open? literal definition of trolling.
