Well there are so many complaints here about a short guard rotation that Joe decided to address that constant complaint.
My thoughts exactly. I saw that he was a combo guard and went straight to highlight videos. Off the bat I noticed he wasn’t 6’4 or shorter which prompted me to see how tall he actually was. He’s essentially the poor man’s Ben Simmons.
Considering the pick is top 55 protected, I'd say he is a VERY poor man's Ben Simmons. And that isn't exactly a high bar anymore.
Haven’t seen too much of him. I’ll say, I’m way more excited about him than I was about Cam Reddish or Kevin Knox.
I bet he is waived is less the 30 days to sign someone who was waived today / or in the coming days ....
Just a hunch, but this move smells like a Mike Schmitz deal. My guess would be that he sees something in this kid and he's worth a flier to see if he can make the leap.
