Two ounces gin, one-half ounce creme de menthe, one-half ounce sweet vermouth, and a dash of aromatic bitters, shaken with ice and poured into a chilled 4 ounce cocktail glass.
To me it sounds like a particular breed of chicken. "The three hens are Rhode Island Reds, and the rooster is a Delano Banton." barfo
I’m sure they got him just to keep Sharpe happy. Rumor has it that Sharpe was going to walk if they didn’t put another kid from Canada on the roster.
He likes to have the ball in his hands (not sure that is a good thing) so while he could guard SFs easily I think he would want to play point forward on O all the time.
Banton can keep developing his skills and get paid low $$$ in the League. If he doesn’t get his shooting numbers up across the board, then it’s just a try-out AND that’s fine. Camara is already trusted on D, Murray and Scoot have longer runways to improve, and Jabari’s has already made significant improvement as a role player. It’s a matter of time until the next draftees put pressure on the other young dudes for who gets time on court. Cronin has time to learn who stays and who goes (from among Grant, Thybulle, and Brogdon, especially).
What I did see from him, I liked. You're right that he seemed to be a bit of a ballhog, but I suspect he's out there to get another contract. Will he become the next "legend"? Or will he actually be on the team next season?
