I wonder if Columbus is up for trading Jenner, who seems like a bit of a bargain at 4m for 2 more years. He's their 'C' so maybe not, but they need to keep adding prospects.

I was wanting him on the Rangers for a long time as you know. The fact he signed with a team at his age that he knew was terrible tells me two things. One, he is situated in that area with family. Two, he is not making winning the cup a priority. Not sure I would have interest any longer. I know he has a long time girlfriend. My guess is she is not interested in leaving that area.

Shame because he would be a perfect fit for a while with Cuylle and Othmann. That being said, if Monahan brought back a first, Jenner would get more than that. Monahan has been wildly inconsistent. You know what you are getting with Jenner.

You'd probably have to give up both a 1st and Kakko.

Krebs is interesting. He doesn't get the ice time he needs to improve. He was a guy most scouting reports said was a pretty safe bet to be a good NHL player and he is a winning player. I would gladly welcome the Rangers getting him for the right price. He has role player production so far but his upside is more than that in the right situation.

If Drury goes after a center that has been more than a role player, the cost seems to be a first. His target should be a guy with role player production but more upside than that.

Yeah he could be interesting if Buffalo were to look to move him. I'd think he might cost a 1st though because of his age and where he was drafted.

Nah, no way. Not with his production so far. He doesn't have near the production to command that type of return. My guess is they would probably ask for Sykora which I wouldn't do. I might offer Edstrom and Berard. Not much more.

I like Sykora alot. Maybe he can be like a Jan Erixon type.

Yeah, it would be unwise to move him. I see him as our next Fast. Pain in the ass to play against and a role player who will accept that role.

This thread deserves to be bumped up today. This in over his head no plan Pres/GM has got to go. Maybe Dolan will have a pulse and fire him this summer after another one and done.

No it doesn’t as usual you’re a fucking idiot who wants to overpay and trade the entire future in a delusional scheme because you think you can win for sure if you make big moves at the deadline

You literally just make sh** up man, I mean it is crazy. I have said over and over I would NOT have traded Othmann and Perreault. I would have traded a late 1st rounder in a weak draft, but seeing how we ended up, I am actually not happy we traded away four picks for no reason. We should have sold and added extra picks if this was the final team. I am most annoyed by no plan, and half a**ing it.

And yes, we are all aware of your plan. F a 1st place team, a top 5 in the NHL team, we need that 25th pick. Let's start threads about kids scoring points in the minors and talk about next year and 5 years from now every single year. I 100% believe you care more about the minors and mainly average kids than actually winning a Cup.

Makes you wonder why this thread was even started in the first place....hang on....I'll check....
He didn't like that Drury wasn't making meaningful moves to improve the team. Funny how things change in 7 weeks.

Still annoyed they pissed picks away for Kane. Then two guys the organization had are two top prizes that didn’t move at the deadline.

But but but…we kept a useless first round pick and added zilch to help win faceoffs (which I can’t wait to see him pissing and moaning about in like 3 games if he can even wait that long) and added zilch to help in the defensive zone (which once again he will be bitching about within 3 games).

When did Trouba get injured? He's out for 3 weeks...Maybe thats why Ruhwedel was brought in?

We should have pulled a Vegas and put him on LTIR until playoffs. Could have done a lot with 8m in cap. Drury is too much of a boy scout for those games.

I don’t think Drury is too much of a Boy Scout as it is he’s too much of a moron.

Guys on Twitter earlier today were saying that’s something the Rangers could’ve considered. Then Vegas went ahead and pulled off their stunner.
