Hope he doesn't get hurt again...The guy has been prone to injuries since we drafted him. He's one of my fav players but high flyers seem to get hurt often.

Sharpe has hardly proven himself in this league. He should be playing as much as possible. Time to shit or get off the pot imho. If he can't stay healthy then trade him. The NBA is about "what have you done for me lately"?

The guy played 80 games last season and did show at the end of the season that he belongs in this league. He has gotten a bit banged up this season but not with injuries that should be recurring then he missed major time with this abdominal surgery but I'm not aware of those ever pointing to chronic problems. I'm pretty sure besides the surgery most of the games that Shae missed this season were due to the team not caring about wins and being super cautious with any slight injury. I think because of that approach and because Ant is a clunky fit next to perimeter player that isn't just a three and D guy, Shae hasn't had a chance to get into the kind of rhythm we saw him get into at the end of last season.

I am excited for Shae to get back to playing. I think there would be no reason for the Remix assignment if the team didn't expect to have him playing in games very soon, hopefully he joins the team early in this road trip.

All of that said the idea that we need to "shit or get off the pot" when a guy has shown real signs of all-star potential and won't be 21 for a couple of months seems foolish.

    I agree.
I will say that with amount of time he has missed this season, I would like to see him play during this summer. Either with Canada's Olympic team or with the Blazers summer league team. He needs more court time.

I am not saying he doesnt belong in the league but this team has to focus on finding the next superstar. I can see no other way to build a contender. It seems a lot think Sharpe is that guy. Well, he needs to be on the court and stay healthy. You must agree his season was very very disappointing.

Yeah, Shaedon missing so much time has been the biggest disappointment for me as a fan. He is our most exciting player and I really wanted to see a jump forward that hasn't happened. Scoot's consistency being derailed by two injuries has been my second biggest disappointment. I do want to say that Ant playing so much time with Shae and Scoot has been bad for their progress and Jerami getting so many iso possessions has been frustrating as well.

I like that Shaedon looks like he has a high upside as a defender and offensive weapon and I'd say the same thing about Scoot. It's just unfortunate that we haven't been able to see these two guys get consistent playing time due to injury and without Ant (or maybe the way Chauncey is coaching) standing in their way.

Great news. Wouldn't fly him out unless he is ready to play one would suspect.

I said "I hope not"! That's pretty much a guarantee he will be fine. Me and the man upstairs have an understanding.
