I feel someone should explain to @THE HCP just who Archduke Ferdinand was, and why a WW3 reference makes sense.
Humor me. You explain why your WW3 reference makes sense. I know who A Ferdinand was, how he was assasinated, and how his death sparked WW1. I see zero connection between Ferdinands death sparking WW1, and how this bridge accedent sparks WW3. What am I missing?
It was a joke reference. Because Alex Jones said that the bridge/boat crash was the start of WW3. Sly then posted about how the boat had electrical issues and I made a reference to Archdukes death, which everyone knows was the trigger point for WW1. Thus, implying that the reference that Sly made (Electrical issues on the boat) was the same excuse they used after Ferdinand was assassinated. As in, it's a joke.
The more you explain, the less it makes sense. Not funny! Never heard of any electrical issues in Ferdinands assassination. Thought it was a wrong turn? Who is Alex Jones? Me thinks all S2 mods are bots with electrical issues. Some more than others. At least bot Barfo is funny.
That's the point of the joke. It's a nonsensical response to what happened, which is exactly what Alex Jones did. The guy who spread rumors that the Sandy Hook shooting was a false flag/crisis actors, got sued into oblivion last year, says they're turning frogs gay, propagated pizza gate... He's the one who implied the incident in Maryland was the start of WW3. Don't be mad that you don't seem to understand humor.
You can debate or try to disprove whatever people bring to the table, or tell them how shitty you think the things they say are even if it is just based on a gut feeling, those are all parts of a discussion. Simply just insulting people by name calling is a pretty slippery slope though. Could you imagine the war zone this place would be if personal insults were allowed?
