This will be a tough one at a very good Avs team, especially without 3 of their top 6 dmen. I am hopeful but have a feeling we may not enjoy this game. I will say this, if the Rangers ever found a way to win this one, you can pretty much lock them into the top seed in the East.

It was also funny as I was watching the post-game show on TNT last night, and they didn't even mention the Rangers when discussing the East. They talked about the battle between the Flyers and Caps for 3rd in the Met, and then the Panthers and Canes at the top of the East, no mention of the team actually leading the East. The Rangers should take stuff like that as fuel when the playoffs start. I think you'll see a lot of Panthers and Canes talk. I get it as I do think the Rangers are a little behind those two teams, but they clearly have a shot to beat them, and deserve respect.

Pretty crazy how quickly he made it back considering what it looked like when he got hurt. That is good for him and us, and hopefully we'll get Trouba and Gust back within the next week or so. Then we take our best shot.

I saw that too. That fuckface bizz said the rangers are a good matchup for the leafs if Tampa passes them. How are they behind the canes? Florida ok fine. They had a good run last year. They actually have been playing poorly lately

At the end of the day, the point holds IMO. If one thinks the Rangers are third just behind the Panthers and Canes, or second ahead of the Canes, or first, it is all close, and they are leading the East currently. They recently beat the Canes and the Panthers. Again, they deserve respect, and that segment gave them zero respect, absolutely zero, and that is a joke IMO.

If the Rangers get the top seed in the East, they'll play the Flyers/Caps/Wings, that is the best path. Let the Panthers, Bruins, Leafs, Lightning all end up in the Atlantic bracket and beat each other up for the right to play us or the Canes in the ECF. A win tonight and IMO the Rangers will be the top seed, it is going to be tough to get that win tonight, and maybe unlikely given the circumstances, but I think it would make it just about a lock we'll be the top seed (even with a loss tonight we still have the inside track for the top seed I think).

Not a fan of Lindgren coming back tonight. Too many games left for him to get hurt again before the games truly matter.

Halfway through it’s what you would expect from two of the NHL’s top teams. Some good saves from both goalies. Trocheck just missed as he hit the post after the kill.

Ugh hate giving up a goal with 32 seconds left in the period. I’m sorry but Miller is flat out soft.

miller makes a solid check the puck doesnt go to the wide open player... with that said a lot wrong on this play...but for me.. the weak reach for miller is a huge reason
