I couldn't agree more. If this goes 7 games, it is a bad sign. Should be 5, but worst case 6. Look at the talent, and the numbers, the Caps are by far the worst team in the playoffs, # 16 of 16 teams. This needs to be a short series, not usual Rangers making everything difficult, especially when the Canes most likely will be waiting next, we need to be physically ready for that series.

Love Torts fucking over the Pens. At least he figured he would be doing that. Probably wasn't sure if the Red Wings would win.

The Wings getting to OT/getting a point, which eliminated the Flyers, happened almost at the exact same time Torts pulled the goalie, so when he did it, the Flyers were still alive, and he knew he needed to win in regulation to stay alive for the playoffs. If the Wings had won/gone to OT a little earlier, I doubt he pulls the goalie since the Flyers would have been out anyway. That was a crazy 5-10 minutes or so.

The Pens were F'd by Torts pulling the goalie, F'd by the Caps winning, and F'd by the Wings winning. Not a good night for the Pens, but their loss to Boston on Saturday night was their crusher.

That’s what the scumbag Pens get for the NHL fixing the lottery with Crosby, which is the dirty little secret nobody talks about.

Let it go....it was 20 years ago....
Knowing what we all know about Tortarella there is 0.0% chance he was thinking about the Penguins at any point during the game last night.
