The fact that Dame couldn't make it work with one of the top three players in the league is not a good look for him.
The Clippers, Knicks and Suns are teams I think who can trade all stars for Dame. Dame is close to Thibs from Team USA ..New York market would eat up Dame's brand.
Yep, we probably should have moved Dame a year ot two earlier but am very glad we did it last summer, IM Yep, glad we moved Dame when we did, he'll only become more of an albatross with that contract and deteriorating play
I am a big Dame fan and I think a lot of posters here are shitting on him for poor reasons that said, he'll turn 34 in July, has the 'Miami-or-Bust' fiasco as part of his back-story, and is due over 56M/year over the next 3 seasons. The Bucks will have a lot of trouble dodging a major deficit in the Dame->Dame-out equation. They'd be better off trying to make it work than bailing out this soon
and there it is! Thanks for posting this. I sure don't hate Dame but apparently some Bucks media beat writers aren't buying it.
It would be such a monumental self destruction if Dame demanded out of Milwaukee, since he talked shit about other players leaving places when things got hard.
"Lillard is dealing with a sore adductor that limited him the last weekend of the regular season." https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...d-practices-fully-giannis-remains-live-drills
Brunson is probably going to be what 4th in MVP? He's younger and on a better contract, just led the Knicks to a better record than Dame who had Giannis. No way NY is interested in that.
Do we still wants Dame back in X years? Like, would it be a courtesy or do we expect him to contribute?
It would be like when Gary Payton won the chip with the Heat against the Mavs in 2006 or like when Jason Kidd won the chip with the Mavs against the Heat in 2011. I root for him to win it all with the Bucks tho
Jason Kidd was absolutely pivotal in the Mavs winning that championship. They don’t make it past the Blazers without Jason Kidd.
