Same here, and he left his feet. But they reviewed it and said no penalty so who am I to disagree! Great...GREAT hit.

lol this team never does anything easy. Complacent on two straight power plays. Take too many man penalty and allow a goal. Gustafson is so dumb.

That too many men penalty was not on Gustafson, he jumped on when Fox who raised his hand got to the bench but then decided to stay on.

Washington played a desperate game. Going up 2-0 is all that matters.

Solid performance got the win, and got the job done at home, all that matters. They do need to get the puck out of the zone late there as they had 4 chances and didn't get it out. F the icing, at that point clear the puck and settle things down. Lucky that didn't come back to bite them. Hopefully when it happens again, they will get it the F out of the zone, if it is icing so be it.

Up 2-0 with a strangle hold on the series, absolutely no reason at all this series should go more than 5 games. Figure the Caps will have one big performance in them down in DC, but the Rangers should come home up 3-1 and go for the clincher in game 5. Good stuff to see them handling their business so far against a clearly inferior team.

One quick comment on Panarin, zero shots tonight. I thought he passed up a couple of good opportunities to shoot, and instead passed. He was all about being aggressive and shooting first this season, he needs to continue with that mindset, which I am confident he will.

Not clearing their own zone at the end was so ranger like in the playoffs. Got the job done. Did not play badly but I feel like they will play better on the road.

Panarin did have a shot on net in the third period and missed it wide.

I always feel like the Rangers play better on the road. I think they will do a good job in DC. The Rangers are the much better team, and played well in the two games at MSG, sure that will continue on the road.

He had zero shots on goal, I am not concerned about it, just an observation that he needs to stay with that shooter's mentality. It has worked great for him.

Worst thing about the cheap shots is knowing that any reaction will be penalized, Oshie found out what happens when you play stupid games, thought he got caught with his head down. So far a great series maligned by questionable officiating making ticky tack calls while ignoring the dangerous stuff.

Of course Rangers hater Subban who was a huge cheap shot scumbag, was crying about the hit. Between him and Bissodickhead, you just hit the mute button when they come on talking about the Rangers.

Agreed overall on Subban, but he has actually been talking very highly of the Rangers and picked them to play the Stars in the SCF. He said this is the best Rangers team since 94, and for the first time in a long time they have the grit and toughness to be a complete team. We'll see.
