Dame is leading a team affected by injury to scrappy playoff wins? I have to admit it does feel familiar.

Also I think it’s reallly jumping to conclusions to think the Bucks will win this series; I don’t think the team wins five playoff games without Giannis

That's what could have happened in Portland if we'd have gotten Dame some legit help.

I don't think the opportunity to do that was there for Cronin.

The bucks were completely incapable of stopping Indy in the 4th and the pacer defense was stifling.

Pacers couldn't miss. They made everything. It allowed their defense to get back and get set. Also it allowed Nembhard to get set on Lillard and deny him the ball. On the other end Bucks were forcing worse shots and this created transition baskets where the Pacers could just run. Perfect scenario for Indy. I put this loss on Doc a bit. Got to manufacture some baskets. At one point they had a 26-6 run going when they had to sit lillard at the end of the 3rd beginning of the 4th. Beaverly had a pretty bad night.
The roll players simply didn't show. Crowder, Beasley, Green combined for 11 points. It looked like PatCon was a better option but they didn't really use him as a scoring threat?

Amazing how having a superstar or two can make your bench/other players look better than they are.

That stat, however it's derived, looks like bullshit. Look at the ratings:

    upload_2024-4-24_10-6-37.png

then compare those numbers to the other impact metrics...

    BPM:

    Brook Lopez 9.3
    Damian Lillard 7.7
    Pat Connaughton 2.2
    Khris Middleton 0.8
    Patrick Beverley 0.5
    Jae Crowder -4.3
    Malik Beasley -4.9
    Bobby Portis -8.2

    winshares/48:

    Damian Lillard .250
    Brook Lopez .213
    Khris Middleton .178
    Pat Connaughton .132
    Patrick Beverley .076
    Jae Crowder .051
    Malik Beasley -0.036
    Bobby Portis -0.057

    net rating:

    Brook Lopez +25
    Pat Connaughton +16
    Khris Middleton +12
    Damian Lillard +10
    Patrick Beverley +2
    Jae Crowder -5
    Bobby Portis -24
    Malik Beasley -27

    PER:

    Damian Lillard 29.1
    Brook Lopez 23.7
    Khris Middleton 20.5
    Pat Connaughton 15.3
    Bobby Portis 11.0
    Patrick Beverley 10.8
    Jae Crowder 9.7
    Malik Beasley 7.0

    TS%:

    Brook Lopez .717
    Damian Lillard .663
    Khris Middleton .620
    Pat Connaughton .619
    Malik Beasley .591
    Jae Crowder .444
    Bobby Portis .443
    Patrick Beverley .442

Portis and Beasely have been disasters on the floor, and Crowder hasn't been much better. But sure...let's get the hate-Dame gang together and blame him for the situation

In 2018/19, what was our record against OKC in regular?
All Dame needs to do is bad shot Milwaukee to the 2nd round and wait for Gianis. He can.

The Pacers were not scoring on Dame. Siakam actually switched off Dame and Beverly to get Portis a couple times because he could get his shot off. A guard has a better chance to upset the dribble.

Apparently Dame is playing on a tight and sore Achilles....not a good thing at all. Doc used him as a decoy in the second half because he can't explode to the rim at all right now. ET nailed it with his tweet

Dame is really lazy on defense. Doesn’t try at all.

I’ve heard a feeling of tightness is what happens right before Achilles ruptures.

It's a relationship, just not a cause and effect relationship. A ruptured Achilles will often be preceded by those symptoms, but the symptoms themselves have little correlation with that outcome.
