And the entitlement continues. Why did these assholes feel like they were owed a call when they had nothing of vzlue to match it?

This thought may be my favorite part of the Lillard trade. F*** Pat Riley.

    F' Miami
    F' F' F', I said F' Miami
    F' Miami

    No Dame for you
    It's a crying shame too
    Not!
    Whaa! Hold me
    You thought we was playin'
    All those low ballin' overtures
    The media exposure
Conspiring with Dame's agent, smh jerks
    Presuming we just layin'
    Down our cards and folding
For a deal that is moldy
    Well the truth hurts

    F' Miami
    F' F' F', I said F' Miami
    F' Miami

Pat Riley left indefinitely on hold
Bout to be left out in the cold
Cronin with the middle finger extended
    Investigate that NBA
    Because Miami's hopes are suspended
And Jimmy B can't take it
    The NBA gods forsake you

    F' Miami
    F' F' F', I said F' Miami
    F' Miami

I'll take the Bucks deal all day
Over the trash Miami was trying to convey
Herro's a zero, no Jaquez or Jovic you crazy
Milwaukee traded us their future, how bright
Even though our present is hazy

We'll run away with it, Ayton, and Jrue
Over the garbage you put forward
Cause we are tried and true
So go cry and lick your wounds
Complain about the injustice of it all
Your salty tears are a delicious cure-all
And one more thing F you

    F' Miami
    F' F' F', I said F' Miami
    F' Miami

Agree with that. A lot of fun to see them out of the playoffs.

Not only that they lost both Strus and Vincent and didn't really get replacements for them. They waited so long trying to get Dame free agency dried up.

Anyone rooting for Dame and the Bucks now that it's not the Heat?

OK, I was wrong. We absolutely should've taken the Miami deal.

(Counterpoint: the only reason Herro is looking awesome is because of Spoelstra.)

Was Jamie Jaquez and Hero offered? If so yes they should have taken it. If not? Nope.

For a fanbase so thrilled about their guys they sure do talk about Lillard a lot.

Jacquez is a nice player but I’m not sure he’s enough of a needle mover for me to pull the trigger on their package. Herro wasn’t commanding multiple firsts, obviously.

Herro was ABSOLUTELY offered. They were begging us to take him. I bet Jaquez wasn't, but we may never know.

Where was this after he was 4-13 in game 1?

Or Javier going 4-13 in game 2?

Boston choked for the same reason they choked last year. They are a regular season team.

I was one of the few who liked the idea of getting Jaquez last summer. But I don't think he was offered. It was a no-brainer that he would be a solid NBA player if anyone watched some of the 130 games at UCLA. The guy does things that don't show up in the box score. Having said that I think we can draft someone that is just as good. It's not like he is irreplaceable.

We COULD but we won't. Blazers MO is to take Anfernee Simons over Jalen Brunson.

    I thought Blazer fans didn't want a 6'2" PG?

Jaquez was never part of the deal. We wouldn't have got him. They wanted to give us Hero, Jovic, and Lowry. They didn't have shit for picks. Hero didn't want to be here, Lowry would have been bought out, leaving us with Jovic and a pick or two...nah thanks. I'll take Camara and a shit load of prime picks from Milwaukee any day.
