Look, if they vote for him it's because they actually believe the shitty views that got them nominated by McConnell and co. They owe jack shit to Trump, and besides, it's a lifetime appointment. They're incentivized to do things that will give them a "legacy" and you can bet that Trump and his lawyers are a laughing-stock even among right-wing Lawyers, in part because Trump is NOT an ideologue, he just believes that everything should go his way at all times because he was a spoiled brat who was also a narcissist and likely sociopath.

Ironically, the two that are most likely to support Trump are Thomas and Alito. They seem to be far more moronically right-wing than the three Trump-era appointments.

Brett Kavanaugh rose to prominence working with Kenneth Starr trying to find something anything for which Bill Clinton could be impeached. A land deal on which Clinton lost money. Nope. Oh wait, he tried to cover up a sleazy affair! Hang him high! That same Kavanaugh today expressed himself as so very concerned about possible political prosecution.

Trump said reason he is being prosecuted and Hillary Clinton isn't is that he is a Christian.

Oh, and he never wanted her locked up even though he said in presidential debate he would jail her and lock her up was #1 chant at rallies up to Republican National Convention.
