Vancouver scores 2 goals with their goalie pulled in the last 3 minutes to force OT against Nashville. Wow.

Losing in the playoffs at home to a 3rd string goalie...ouch!

It’s amazing how quickly things can turn. Nashville went from just about to tie the series to down 3-1 in the series.

It is crazy, and while the NHL is a close league where almost any team that makes it in, can win a playoff series, I think a few teams separated themselves this season.

The East had a big 4 most of the season, and it is shaping up that we'll have an epic 2nd round with the Bruins/Panthers and Canes/Rangers. Any of those 4 teams could win the East and it wouldn't be a big upset. Great stuff.

In the West there were a few more teams at the highest level, but you'll most likely get an epic 2nd round out there as well. Avs against the Stars or Vegas and Oilers/Canucks. Again, a great 2nd round.

Could be one of the best 2nd rounds and beyond in the NHL in a while. All the top teams look poised to advance to round 2.

Always disliked Nashville for whatever reason.

Tampa looks completely lost and feckless against the Panthers. It's crazy.

And they just gave a SH goal...down 2-0. Another quick series here.

Less than a minute later...Hedman with a blast to keep them in the game. 2-1

I just saw the goal they disallowed. That’s weak. That should’ve been a goal. Tampa got screwed there.

Cirelli clipped Bobrovsky's right leg as he was spinning. Probably the right call but, I get challenging it.

Nice bounce back from Dallas winning two games in Vegas to even the series, surprisingly the only series that is tied 2-2. Flip a coin on who wins that one now. You have to give a slight edge to Dallas with MO and home ice, but no doubt Vegas is capable of winning that series still. I expect a 7-game series.

Four games tonight, as the Bruins, Canes, Avs, and Canucks all go for the clincher. I have to think at least one of the Leafs, Isles, Jets, or Preds will stay alive.

I wouldn't be surprised if all 4 ended tonight...I think the team with the best chance to stay alive is the Preds despite their epic collapse on Sunday. I can't fathom how they can lose to 2 backup goalies when they have Saros.

I think the team with the best chance to stay alive is the Jets back at home. I can see the other 3 series ending tonight but will be rooting hard for the Isles. NHL playoffs, anything can happen...:).

Yeah, maybe Hellebuck steals a game for them but, Colorado is just rolling right now.

Leafs staying alive with an OT goal from Knies....
Islanders give up 2 3rd period goals in :08 (again) and have a huge hill to climb to extend their series.

Give Toronto credit for staying alive. Interesting they played better and won without Matthews. Could be a coincidence, not sure.

I think the Isles really lost this series in game 2. Once they blew that 3-0 lead, the series was over. Not saying they would have won it if they held on in game 2, but it would have gone 6 or 7 if they did. With them falling apart again, I expect the Rangers to start Friday or Sunday against the Canes. Going to be a great series.

Now let's see if the Jets or Preds can stay alive.

For those of you who aren't Knicks fans, be happy you didn't have to watch your team implode down the stretch of a game they had full control of, and now put a done series into tossup territory going back to Philly for game 6.

You couldn't draw up a worse finish, up 6-points with 28 seconds left, fouled a 3-point shooter for a 4-point play, missed a FT, Philly hits a 35' 3 to tie it, don't get a shot up with 8 seconds left which forces OT, then a terrible TO with 18 seconds left in OT down by 2, the rest is history.

If you replayed that last 28 seconds, the Knicks win 98 of 100 times. Now they could lose the series, or at best they grind to 7th game that could go either way. Sounds familiar...

It is not easy being a NY sports fan...it really isn't.
