Moving up for Clingan?

Reath is a minimum level guy. No need to even consider him in the calculus of roster construction.

 

Do they understand that he's a WABC?

 

Maybe they think Ayton/Clingan/Reath is the new KAT/Gobert/Reid.

They would be silly to think such a thing but who knows.

I can't think of a time Cronin used bluffing or any poker type skill to benefit the Blazers.

Hohldahl had a random piece on JaKobe Walter even though we've never brought him in or have heard anything about bringing him in, so that's my guess.

 

Yeah, so the question is whether they were both fringe guys, or was one of them someone we wanted to keep off the radar?

 

My sources are telling me one is Beljin Klevins. The other is his cousin's cousin.

by that I mean that it sounded like somebody with a pro-Houston lean. Meaning there could be significant agenda behind pumping up Clingan's value as a take at #3.

 

Sounding more and more like the Blazers are going after Clingan.

 

In the end it probably doesn't matter. He's not getting past #3 and we don't have what Houston wants.
