I mean he rebounds, he gets assists, he handles the ball really well for a SF, I don't think he's that great on D but haven't watched enough to know for sure. I hope he lives up to 2 FRPs and Malcolm.

Tells me that the team was very underwhelmed with their probable options at 14. I like Avidja well enough, but I think that this means we're either overvaluing Avidja a bit here, or undervaluing this draft. Or maybe it really is just that awful of a class and there's really no way that any of these guys at 14 come close to moving the needle.
People have no idea how good that contract is for team building. 16M for a starter. 4 years and declining. Even if he never improves it's still gonna be worth 2 firsts to another team in 2 years.
14 is outside of the window for most of the guys we seem to like. Maybe we're adding another top 10 pick in another trade?
