After he beat the guy who tried to overthrow the government. Billions around the world clearly know who the better choice is, impaired or not.

One guy is old. The other guy is old, an insurrectionist, a fascist, a sexual abuser, a compulsive liar, a psychopathic narcissist and one of the worst presidents in our history the first time around by every objective measure.

    This isn't difficult.

The cult followers? I’d guess a large portion of the people voting for him never wanted him to be nominee.

True. Father Time has his way with all of us.

I hope Joe will decide to step aside, but I will certainly vote for him if he’s the candidate. The prospect of a second Trump term is too horrible to contemplate.

    Raises hand.

But, if he's the nominee I'll vote for him over Trump anyday.

Also, I wish we had someone other than Biden.

But I'd take anybody over Trump. So it doesn't matter so long as shitstick fuckwad Trump doesn't get in.

    Ergo, voting biden.

But if Trump is the other option I'll vote for Joe without hesitation.

I was never pretty but fifty years ago had no sag, no bulging veins back of the legs. My hair is still abundant enough to wear long, but fifty years ago it was magnificently thick. And these days dark color is art, not nature. No bad knee, no arthritis in fingers, no partial hearing loss right ear.

More importantly, fifty years ago Nixon was about to resign presidency due to crimes he committed in office. Had current Supreme Court been seated they would have ruled everything he did legal.

Want more of that? Stay home because Biden is old.

All of that may be true, but doesn’t really address the issue of mental competency. Joe is showing signs of what may be the beginnings of dementia. That one sequence in the debate where he completely lost his train of thought and just ended up mumbling incoherent syllables is disturbing. Of course, I don’t think that Trump is mentally competent either. His rambling, incoherent riffs of bullshit do not reflect a stable mind, much less a genius one. Joe at least has policy positions that reflect an interest in improving the wellbeing of the country. Trump sows only hatred and an interest in what benefits himself.

I’ve been telling friends and family for awhile now that I think Joe might just be the figurehead at this point and his ‘handlers’ are making the decisions.

Which is fine because he hired good people to put around him.

Kind of sad on the Democrats part that they can’t come up with some fresh new alternatives in the party. Because I think that Trump would be losing in a landslide.

If the Democrats don’t capitalize on this Project 2025 nonsense than it will be more passive politics and they’ll probably lose.

Where is David Axelrod when you need him?

Good ole, Bernie. He's a better Democrat than just about anyone in the DNC.

I guess it doesn't matter if Biden is the candidate or not, since Obama, Schumer and Pelosi are running things according to Tommy Tuberville. Glad we now can move on from the debate and discuss the merits of electing a guy that already tried once to overthrow the country (and like everything else in his first term, failed).
