Such as "your pass-first point guard."

How are his "hands?" to you? There's a wide range from crappy to good to anything less than "great."

Are you saying he has "bad hands?"

The summer league broadcasters commented more than once that Klingon has good/great hands (I don't remember which, but they were complimentary of his "hands." )

Not that hand size automatically means you have good hands, but other than Bojan I believe that Clingan (and Edey) have the biggest hands in the NBA at 10 inches long.

He does not have great hands. He also has no touch. It can improve, but he probably won’t be elite

I figured it was a bit insinuated but I forget this is 2024 where anyone gets to be an nba fan. Has potential and is going to be… there

I feel like we should change the poll to: How many first-round draft picks can we get for Clingan?

He could really get us some good ones for next year's draft.

When I watch Clingan "dominate" (Walton's favorite word) with a cocked-arm rifle pass like Walton, I'm thinking of how good Dan Hurley is, not Clingan.

During the Walton Gang, a reporter asked an NBA scout whether he'd like to get the sophomore. The scout said "Walton? I'd love to sign WOODEN."

he needs a max contract extension before his trade. That way Clingan will be harder to move, and the Front Office will look like geniuses when they get draft capital in return.

What are the things that you are really emphasizing heading to summer league that you want to improve on?

Shoot the 3-ball, obviously I'm not doing well now at that. But I'm going to continue to work and continue to shoot that ball with confidence.

Really impressed with the IQ and his impact on the game. 5 blks/0 fouls for a rookie center in Summer League is kind of absurd. These guards aren't doing him any favors, either. I'm excited to see what he can do with/against NBA players.

[Still really wanted Salaun, Cody Williams, and Furphy as Blazers …]

Give Clingan time. His floor is a seriously rich man’s Przybilla — defense, rim protection, screens, better passing … and Prz was drafted #9. As DC gets in significantly better shape … builds his NBA body without getting too big … and in a couple years down the line since he’s only 20 and DA is fighting for his next contract (probably somewhere else) …

… and it’s only Summer League … but he looks like the Blazers new red@$$ big man — who Schmitz and Cronin reportedly wanted from his early games at UConn. So I will resist any serious chatter on trading Ayton … but Ant and Grant are a different story!

We have the best Center position depth in all of NBA.

Clingan looks good. Plodding C have less value than ever, but the do have SOME value so if he can improve and be a legit rotation player then that's fine for such a terrible draft.

Rupert and Murray look like a waste of roster spots. Hopefully we can decline their following season options.

Minnesota has 3 centers better than any of ours.

Ayton / Clingan / Timelord vs Gobert / KAT / Reid

Sure, give it to Minny, but that's it.

At least we win the salary category.

$109 million for their 3 centers, vs 53 million for ours.
