Dude some of his pitches don't seem like a human being should be able to do it. And he does it with ease AND consistency
The Mariners began their Draft on Sunday by taking switch-pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje out of Curaçao with the 15th overall pick. Gotta be honest here, I have no idea how to even try to pronounce that. Switch pitcher is cool though.
Seattle pitching has given up the least amount of hits in MLB by a wide margin. Seattle hitting has offered the least amount of doubles... show some hustle Mariners! quit lolly gagging
So it will be tied. Houston scored. So they already won the game. Why do I make this proclamation? Easy. We suck on offense. So the AL west is tied.
I am not sure I even blame the front office as much of a owner who ( now tell me if this sounds familiar but for different reasons ) who runs this team ONLY to make money and maybe doing bare minimum to be good. Oh yeah back to who is sounds like the ... Blazers and Jody or whatever mandates she is running the team by right now. The owner forget his name just woke up but he says all the right things but in the end will not give out more money then the M's GM has to go to the fans with BS speak again sounds familiar.
I'm not embarrassed we haven't been to a world series or won a world series. I'm fine with it, it is what it is. I don't think I've ever been more embarrassed as a Mariners fan than today, waking up and seeing we lost a 10 game lead in a weak division in less than 25 games. Flat out embarrassed.
In my opinion the most pathetic franchise in pro sports. Very limited postseason appearances despite a slew of Hall of Famers and future HOF’ers.
right, I agree. Front Office from my perspective is anyone who can't enter the game to help the team. Overall team management. When things get wonky, I'll even throw coaches under the bus. As a polite NW sports fan, I always blame office & coaching decisions more then the players. Competition by the players can be learned from, and applied towards improvement. When management isn't learning from mistakes, they shouldn't be given the same excuse as the players. I listened to Scott Servais in post game. He's trying hard to keep the confidence high. It's gotta be rough seeing dozens of great pitching performances squandered, because guys are choking at the dish. "There's a lot of baseball left, the big hits will be here soon. They will." everything is at the table for a playoff run. The Mariners are waiting for the oven timer to beep. Last August was a huge month for the M's. If things continue south on the hitting front, fans better not hear comps on the spectacular month of last season. "Maybe September will be the '23 August" The Mariners pitching has been incredible for 3 years straight. Using "hope" that the bats get hot is getting old really fast. Similar to Blazer fans wanting Olshey to add All-Stars around Lillard, I compare Mariners fan woes to Portland's playoff runs. The outstanding pitching is basically Damian. And right now, the hitters are looking like Meyers Leonard and Allen Crabbe, instead of what should be an All-Star Center, and a big swing for superstar Paul George.
It's unreal how much good we have had here and it's all been squandered. I'd be very surprised if we even make a world series in the next 15 years.
I'm still hopeful and going to just hang on and enjoy the ride. Sure, there will be disappointment, but that's why I'm a mariners fan lol
