Sounds like the CW program director runs his station the same way the OSU/WSU athletic directors run their programs.

I found the answer to my question. The Cougs play on Friday, not Saturday.

Does the Pac 12 still do the players of the week awards?

You mean, does OSU and WSU take turns congratulating each other?

Wide receiver Darrius Clemons, transfer from Michigan, is healthy and will play on Saturday. I'm excited to see what he brings to the offense.
And sounds like center Van Wells will be back after missing the Oregon game.

Oregon State and Wake Forest will play a home-and-home football series during the 2025 and 2029 seasons.

Wake Forest travels to Corvallis in 2025, while the Beavers play the Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem, N.C. in 2029. There is a possibility the 2029 game can be played earlier if the schools agree. Dates for the games were not immediately specified.

Wake Forest's stadium capacity is 31,500. They'd be a worthy addition to the Pac-X if they were 2500 miles closer. They did go 11-3 in 2021 and clobbered Rutgers, 38-10, in the Gator Bowl

Beaver fans can NOT be happy about this. Is this why nobody on here is talking about this or did I miss that thread. What a joke!

Oh this was from the Atlantic just last night. Fake account or the deal fell thru? Because adding those teams is embarrassing to be honest. There would be much better additions that make more sense competition and location wise.

Too far away in my opinion. I want the PAC to stay with West/Mid West schools.

I'm fine if it's Nevada and UNLV too. Or if Cal or Stanford come back.

nothing wrong with either program. They are on the same level as the Pac-6 teams. In fact, the Memphis football stadium has a capacity over 58,000 so it would immediately become the biggest venue. It has 18,000 more seats than Fresno State which has the largest stadium in the Pac-6. On the other hand, Tulane has a 30,000 seat stadium so it would become the smallest venue

the problem is that Memphis is 2200 miles from Corvallis and New Orleans is 2400 miles away. The travel expenses for those two programs would be enormous. And, in the likely event that a new Pac-X media deal would come in around the level of the current AAC media deal, those two teams would be actually looking at the same revenue with increased costs

probably meaning there would have to be additional teams added within the normal geography of the current AAC footprint.

Air Force, UNLV, maybe San Jose State & Nevada...those are the teams that make the most geographical and logistical sense for the Pac-6. But each additional MWC team costs the Pac-6 close to 30 million in exit fees due the MWC. The Pac-2 was completely boneheaded in signing those terms with the MWC just to get that two year scheduling agreement which, IIRC, has now become a 1 year agreement

"mid" West schools are the only ones that will join the new Pac-__ anyway.
