That's the rumor I'd be spreading as well, if I were Danny Ainge.

Is this the most flattering picture of Flagg that NBA.com could find!?

I don't know why but I'm getting Keith Van Horn vibes off this kid. I find it hard to believe he's a generational talent. But maybe that's my anti-white-American bias showing.

Big advantage for Flagg: as a native Mainer he should be very familiar with Portland

So much hype for clicks anymore. I never understood the all the hype scoot was getting and I saw him a few times in G league.
What ive seen so far with Flagg is more impressive than what I seen with Scoot.

Scoots gonna be good brother. What I’d recommend is watching his highlights from the last 1/4 of the season a couple months ago. Even if the stakes were lower by then, he just looked like an nba player by the last 20 games. Just gotta hope it continues and we’ll be back to solid

Keith van Horn is unfair, because Flagg is supposed to be a very good defender. I've settled on a new comparison (that is actually pretty flattering): Andrei Kirilenko with a jump shot.

But it doesn't matter - there's no way a player with the last name "Flagg" doesn't end up in the Nation's Capitol.

Flagg will be the consolation prize for whichever billionaire loses the NBA Team lottery and gets to buy the Blazers.

How many teams are for sale right now?

    Celtics, T-Wolves, and Blazers?

If we end up with Flagg, we gotta bring in DeMarcus Cousins on a 10 day contract just so I can sing, "Coop, Scoot and Boogie" at least one time.

Apparently I'm not the only one who sees Kirilenko. This description doesn't exactly make him sound like a generational player...

You posted this and then we saw what he did against the best players in the NBA when he went to Team USA camp as part of the select team. This kid was more than holding his own. I was skeptical and then saw the highlights of what he was doing in that scrimmage and the young guy looks legit.

Are the Vegas picks accurate in this subject? Knowing Portland, and if I were a betting man, I would take the over because this franchise knows how to shoot itself in the foot. Three games between slot one and slot three is a small spread. Then it is three games between slot three and four. Good odds I think?

This could also easily be the Bailey, Harper or Edgecombe draft.
