I think you'd find pushback that Tapper and Bash are "elements on the left." Just the other night, Tapper interjected into Nancy Pelosi's rebuke of Trump's economic record by excusing it for COVID. CNN's far from being the left-wing version of Fox News and has even swung very right on occasions since it came under new management about a year ago.

They're selling a product.

Regarding racism on the left, certainly it exists. You're always going to have individuals, and there are a number of foreign policies that have been passed down from administration to administration that you could now lay at the left's feet because they're in the White House. The Middle East situation is particularly complex, and has become moreso with Netanyahu pushing the envelope so many times.

However, racism and xenophobia isn't nearly as baked into policy and identity on the U.S. left as it is on the U.S. right. I haven't seen it to be a feature, but I'm willing to listen if you have more detail why you feel that way.

 

I have not heard anyone on the left praise Hitler or recommend Mein Kampf or proudly call themselves a Nazi.

 

Nope. That's why Jill Stein is neck and neck with Harris for the Muslim vote. If anyone would have said that a year ago they would have laughed.

I agree with you. They aren't REAL left. They are make believe left that the mainstream doesn't know how to discern from. I was speaking to that.

As I stated before, there are elements of racism on the left, but it isn't equal to the right. We agree on that.

But kind of hard to hide it when you don't let a Palestinian speak at the DNC...
