One of the most consequential human beings to ever play basketball. The hospital he founded in the Congo has served hundreds of thousands of people. Players like to talk about their "brand" while he was out there making a difference. What a legacy. He's in my top 5 of favourite players. I was at the arena the day he left the game with his last injury as a Rocket against our Blazers when he was 42. Somewhere up there in heaven someone is sexing Mutombo.
