The Mets, braves, and Diamondbacks are all tied for the last two playoff spots with just the doubleheader to go. Here's how it works to clinch for each team: Mets: split the two games or win both games Braves: split the two games or win both games Diamondbacks: one of the two teams LOSES both games. That's their only way. Wild fucking finish. It's why baseball will always be the most superior sport without question!

Early success has always been the Mariners heel. This might be the year they become legit contenders. Hopefully the bats keep it going. It’s all happened while Rodriguez has struggled.
Unfortunately it's been hitters who have low BAs having the success so I'm thinking we will regress sharply.
Is it not true? Rowdy isn't hitting grand slams and 3 games in a row with a HR. He's hitting .140 lol. Cal is our 2nd best hitter at .233 lol. Dylan Moore has a good BA in limited plate appearances. I'm simply going by what the averages are telling me. It's a fun ride winning series, but long term it's not sustainable so we will be back to winning and losing 3-2 games shortly. Also we struck our 18 times yesterday.
