No Bucks starters played more than 17 minutes. Pistons played their starters 25 minutes. Bucks played their practice roster (guys not even in the 15 man rotation) 10-12 minutes. Pistons did not play anyone not projected to be on their roster.
    IT"S A PRESEASON GAME!

And then the Bucks lost badly. To Detroit.

I really don't think the Bucks lost any sleep over losing a PRE-SEASON game. I for one could not care less about who wins or loses in PS or SL.

The Bucks are just hoping to get a chance to see what their roster can do if healthy in the playoffs.

So Dame wins a ring this year. The. He comes back to ptown next year( i think his contract is up?) after we have traded Ant and Dame becomes our 6th man and we win it all two years from now after Sharpe/Scoot and Klingan have improved as well as Deni and the stud we get for Ant/Grant.

    book it.

    Scoot/Dame
    Sharpe/Thybulle
    Deni/Camara/Rupert
    Stud/Walker
    Ayton/Klingan

Okay….maybe i need to put the joint down….

No Dame is not a free agent next summer, it might be 3 years?

I'd think for him to come back we'd at least need to be a playoff team. Highly doubt he wants to back up Scoot just to watch more tanking.

I always liked the idea of BOTH him and Giannis eventually coming here. They get one ring in Milwaukee then one here. Us holding the Bucks picks gives us a unique advantage to trade for Giannis. But we can't have this mess of a roster we have today.

I guess if we get lucky with Flag/Ace maybe there's a chance.

    Or anyones stats.

If people try to have any gotcha stats or "I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD HAVE PICKED HIM" from preseason stats... laugh at them.

Why is it when people put Dame over the haters come out -- get a life -- Blazers made a choice was it the right one or not -- who knows cause there are many factors in determining the answer to that question.

We all know I love Dame and a part of me wishes he was still here BUT I am not going to live in the past cause nothing good comes from it. All I can do is continue to be a fan of Dame and wish him the best as long as it's not against the Blazers -- PERIOD

    Sure, 28ppg although only 30% 3pt isn't efficient.

But I'm not sure that Bucks roster is as good as a number of Blazer squads he was on. Who can defend anyone on that roster outside Giannis (who has a lot he must also do offensively). Blazers at least had Aminu/Harkless/Turner/etc types to cover for Dame/CJ.

Bucks have the same 1-3 record as the Blazers losing to horrible Bulls and Nets teams. Only win was over a 6ers team without PG13/Embiid.

I just don't see any way the Bucks can compete with Celtics, Knicks, Cavs, Magic, etc at the top of the east. Those teams also have some great scorers but a much better group defensively. The Bucks will be in a battle to avoid the playin.

Lopez has been called a very good rim protector. Portis is a good defender when healthy as well as Middleton. PatCon is a good defender as well as Trent Jr. Not sure how you come up with no defenders? You couple all those guys with Giannis and you have a decent defense. They will be 6th seed or better is my bet.

Middleton has not been good defensively in a number of years and has chronic injuries. He has not played a minute this season and is still not cleared for 5 on 5 contact while on a $32 million salary. Lopez and Portis are fine in drop coverage protecting the rim but I was talking about wing and permitter defense. Celtics have Tatum, Brown, and Jrue. The Knicks have Bridges, OG, and Hart. PatCon and Trent Jr are below average defenders and clear backup level players.

Yeah the Bucks might be a 6th seed. There is no way they will be the top seed with the Celtics/Knicks/Cavs/Magic/Pacers/6ers/Heat/etc all in that conference. A year ago the expectations were pretty damn different for the Bucks. I don't think todays Bucks team is at all close to what Dame or Blazer fans expected when he was traded to Giannis' squad.

Bucks give up 40 in the first quarter to Memphis, that roster just can't play defense anymore in 2024-25

It's ironic that Damian on the Blazers current roster would be a really good roster for him.

Well, ironic isn't the right word. Frustrating.

(yes I know trades involving him included some of these players, shut up...)

Imagine him with Tou, DeAndre, DC, Rupert, Deni, Sharpe, Scoot and Simons....
