And that's a low estimate. For good reason.

Those are two of the players that have actually made the Blazers fun to watch. I know everyone THINKS Shaedon can't help but make this team more fun to watch because JUMPS HIGH and DUNKS PLEASINGLY, but he's never really shown he's suited to an uptempo game. He has the Dame thing of wanting to slow it down and survey his options. Consequently he makes the TEAM less fun to watch. (Also, we're not exactly going to get offense-from-defense by benching Camara or Deni for Shaedon.)

Sharpe shouldn't be bringing the ball up the court. So he shouldn't be able to slow it down.

Do you think if we mention Cronin more in this thread the odds of him seeing it go up?

Are you the trade checker police?

I'm sure the poster meant dump the vets in a trade for minimal return, not dump them in a trade that is not possible per the CBA.

    Simple reading comprehension.

    Totally agree.

That's why it never made sense to have this current roster in July. We didn't have a use for all FIVE vets on this roster in Grant Ayton Ant Timelord Thybulle.

It's a complete failure on Joe's part that goes back to the day the Blazers traded Dame. We should have aggressively built around youth from that day.

I'm extremely skeptical we are going to see anything different from this franchise soon either.

This franchise strategic direction is a complete joke.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by one-dimesional, but I'd suggest Clingan is a little more than that. He leads the team in rebound rate. In fact, his 18.3% offensive rebounding rate would lead the NBA if he had enough minutes to qualify. Zach Edey currently leads with a 17.7% rate and there's no compelling reason why Edey is averaging 6 minutes more a game than Clingan.

Clingan would also lead the NBA in blocked shot rate at 12.7% if he had enough minutes. Wemby currently leads the NBA with 10.8%

I'd also think that Clingan will be a really good screen-setter with a little development; which is hard to get sitting on the bench

protecting the rim & defending the paint; rebounding on both ends of the floor; gaining extra possessions off of the offensive glass. Looks like a few dimensions there and those dimensions are what you want out of a big man. To be sure, Clingan is locked into drop coverage because of his limited mobility, but so is Ayton

And we're thinking that Cronin reading this thread would have the slightest impact on his plans for the team?

You guys are sure getting antsy considering none of our vets values have fluctuated whatsoever. This is cronins specialty, wait for the right desperate deal.

If y’all can’t see how well we made off unloading Dame by waiting an entire summer plus previous pressure even before drafting Scoot, you’re not looking at this objectively.

let the fake contenders choke and struggle some more.

Only Boston and OKC are truly contenders. Suns are a booker injury away from a .500 record. We’re chillin. we hold the cards. Let Cronin cook.
