Zibanejad actually skated for the first time in over a year last game. Quick sucked which is rare for him he had a bad game.

Bertuzzi seems to be having a horrific season there. Not sure if there may be an opportunity to bring him here and whether it would make sense, but always been a fan of him.

Two turnovers Zibanedouche and Miller. Shocking.

How many times does that dumb fuck Miller have to screw up before he gets benched.

Gotta fire Lavi and Drury after tonight if we lose. Sorry but there’s no excuse to keeping them if we lose to the worst team in the NHL with the most expensive goalie. Igor wanted the big contract well then he better start shutting teams out.

Everyone looks dumbfounded on the bench.

Another low effort game but it's to be expected after the nonstop Drury nonsense the team is waiting for the next shoe to drop . Bright spot was Mancini having another solid game with his limited minutes, better stop showing up the vets or he'll get scratched. Lav is quite unimpressive as a coach, no motivational skills or game adjustments just keep putting the #1 lines out there and wait for something wonderful to happen.

The season was over before it started with a stale core that should have been broken up before the season even started. I really think most of this was predictable. Did I think they would be as awful as they are, no, but I knew they would battle for a lower playoff spot at best and be one and done most likely. This is all a result of Drury not doing his job in June/July, I don't think it is much more complicated than that.

Not good enough the past few seasons, get beaten down by Florida, team gets clearly worse in July, core gets older and staler. Why would anyone think the results would get better this season, it really is illogical.

I will continue to say, this team needs to sell big this season, and ANY moves Drury does make need to include next season and beyond. Meaning adding picks/prospects and players with term left on their contracts after this season. No rentals for picks/prospects.

Fire Lav, doesn't matter just like it didn't when Gallant got fired. It's the players/Pres/GM that need to change or the results will be the same as we have seen through multiple coaches.

I think it's a little early to throw in the towel but the team has been in a rut digging deeper. I'm biased but I would throw Rempe in the lineup to get a spark but Lav seems uncomfortable playing him, Seattle and Chicago are not even that great, it could take a pummeling from a top tier team to wake them up.

Possibly missing the playoffs in Sam's last year, just terrible.

I agree it is technically too early to throw in the towel, they are in playoff position as we speak, but it is getting late early, especially if they keep losing to bad teams like Seattle and Chicago.

On top of that, sure they can maybe slip into the playoffs, but that shouldn't be the goal. This team is going nowhere near a SC, and that's what matters at this point. It's why Drury cannot give up any assets for quick fix rentals, that would be a disaster.

Maybe the Rangers games only being viewable on Hulu or ESPN+ wouldnt be such a bad thing...

I actually shut the game off after the second period. I was like, this team blows. A bunch of lazy, overpaid dumbasses who are now whining when Drury runs them out of town for sucking and not earning their money.

This continues to highlight Drury’s horrific job last year at the deadline. Did what amounted to nothing for a win now team that had one of the best chances to win as you can get Got shut out and made deals just for the sake of doing so. Went to the bottom of the barrel. Barring a major turnaround next season that will be his legacy in New York.

Are you people this retarded? You can't make moves at the deadline if you don't have cap room and you don't have picks and prospects people want or that you can give up. We used our first round pick on a big, physical, stay at home defenseman who was considered the best shut down d man in the draft. If you haven't noticed, our defenseman suck moose cock at stopping forwards. The reality is if dickhead Trouba and girly arm Fox weren't hurt to the point they were almost useless, they could have beaten Florida. The PP killed us in that series.

Totally agree. Drury failed horrifically this past summer, but he failed just as badly (if not worse) at the trade DL last season. And he also had cap space to make a big move as Chytil was on LTIR, people don't always remember he had extra cap space to work with due to that. Makes his failure even worse.

I think he made a panic move with Roslovic at the trade DL, failed miserably, and he made a panic move on July 1 with Smith, failed miserably. No plan in over his head Chris Drury.

He better not be stupid and try to salvage this lost season with quick fix trades of assets for rentals. Don't compound your terrible no plan mistakes Drury.
