<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>There were reports this week that quarterback Vinny Testaverde, 43, was working at the New England Patriots' passing camp, and that the 20-year veteran would like to play again in 2007. Testaverde ranks No. 6 in league history in passing yards with 45,281, but he does not own a Super Bowl ring, which actually puts him in pretty good company. Thirteen of the league's top 20 in terms of career passing yards, and five of the top 10, never collected a Super Bowl ring. The list: Dan Marino (No. 1, 61,361 yards)Warren Moon (No. 4, 49,325)Fran Tarkenton (No. 5, 47,003)Vinny Testaverde (No. 6, 45,281)Dan Fouts (No. 8, 43,040)Dave Krieg (No. 11, 38,147)Boomer Esiason (No. 12, 37,920)Jim Kelly (No. 14, 35,467)Jim Everett (No. 15, 34,837)Jim Hart (No. 16, 34,665)Steve DeBerg (No. 17, 34,241)Kerry Collins (No. 18, 34,186)John Hadl (No. 19, 33,503).</div>
I actually wouldn't mind the Jets bringing him in to see if he can beat out Tuiasosopo. Bringing in a veteran who could help teach Clemens certainly couldn't hurt his Development.
He wants to throw another TD pass probably, though. I think the Pats have a better shot at bringing a playoff berth early and letting him extend his record 1 more season. Besides, I think he needs to stay because if Brady goes down, someone needs to fill in, and Vinny may still be able to work it, but probably needs a wheelchair to get around.

Tom Brady? His first year he didn't play, except 1 game where he threw 3 passes. His 2nd season he started 14 games and played in 15. I don't know that he missed the 16th game or what, but it was probably the 1st game of the season and he wasn't named started yet.

Jeez, you didn't know how Brady got his job. Wow. Anyways, the Pats would gladly bring back Vinny however there are some minor roadblocks, like Matt Guitierez from Michigan/Idaho State. The coaches say they see a lot of him in Brady.

They obviously don't need to see a lot of Cassels in Brady considering by the age of Brady's retirement, it's too late for Cassels.

I didn't understand one thing you said in that post..
damn if he comes back he need another team to play for instead of the pariots cuz brady is the man there and he might move up higher in passing yards if he play for another team
