What do you guys think?....its said Inter wanted an arsenal player in exchange for the loan, which do you think it was and do you think it was wise to turn the offer down or not. Your toughts?.... My opinion, I think it could have been a good loan for us, just in case Rvp get injured, he could have stepped up. But anyways, it was only a loan. Well see what happens, if we get the injuries up-front, they well know it was a stupid decision to reject him. Player that Inter wanted my guess: Hleb or Rosicky.
we should have straight up bought him IMO. i was just about to post a new thread about this but then i saw this. RVP and Adriano. Skill and Finesse of RVP mixed witht he pure power of Adriano But if master Wenger decides we don't need him then we don't need him
Well he is copping too much crap than he deserves. 2 years ago, thoughts of him not in the Inter starting lineup would sound stupid, but now, he almost got loaned out to West Ham. He is world class and Inter should give him more chance after 1 bad season. Arsenal on the other hand should have jumped at the opportunity to buy or even get him on a loan.
Boro were offered Adriano as well but we're 'not pursuing that any further'. We've just gotten rid of Yakubu so we've got nearly 12mil from that, it probably makes up for what we've spent this summer but I think we'll be getting another player or two before the deadline. We're signing an Egyptian, Mohamed Shawky and we've got our eye on Giorgios Samaras of Man City, so we're definitely still active in the market.
Arsenal dont need to focus on strikers atm. Eduardo might be rubbish and adebayor isnt the best but they could experiment with 1 striker (RVP) and with someone floating behind him (Alex Hleb even though hes rubbish too but better than eduardo and adebayor).

Adebayor is a brilliant Second striker and will get you 15-20 goals a season in all competitions. Eduardo is unporven and has scored twice already. 1 more then A certain Mr Torres. And Hleb Is easily better then any Liverfool wingers with his amazing capabilities of taking people on

QUOTE (man_u_barmy_army)

yeah but Adrinano would have been a good signing none the less

Thats what I was thinking as well. Adriano is a great player.
