I wonder how much gas Eddie George has left in the tank? He will almost certainly be cut after June 1st and we could use a vet to help bring Julius Jones along and give him some time to develop. not worth a shot IMO, hes done and if u use him it would be like last year with troy hambrick. u need to use julius jones so he learns and could be a future threat, theres no way ur gonna win now so start winning for the future by teaching jones
I think EG has something left in the tank. If he can overcome all injuries then he might be good for another 2 maybe 3 years. I still don't think he has fully recovered from the toe injury. Dallas would be a great fit as he does seem like the kind of back prefers. It may be a stretch but any of the other NFC East seems like reasonable destinations as do Tampa & San Francico
You know after the madden curse 2001 cover thing he has not been the same if u look at his stats he gains like 3 a carry but!!!!!! if you need a back for a 4th and 1 who would u want Eddie is in the top 5 in that categorie for me
If EG is willing to get paid like a by-committee back, it would be a good deal. I'm sure Parcells could go for a thunder and lightening type approach. I don't think he is going to get big starter $s at this point, but someone could surprise me.
I already posted this in the eagles forum but there are reports out of philly saying the eagles are going to really go after eddie george when the titans cut him. He is from philly and said he would like to play there if he got the chance. Well, I guess we will find out shortly. Later
