4 years ago when I was 16 working at McD's I prepared a McChicken sandwich for Kevin Willis. I gave Mo Pete a pound while he was stopped at a red light in his black 7-series BMW in downtown TO a few weeks ago. Spotted Alvin Williams at Foot Locker buying several new kicks. Shot free throws with Isaiah Thomas in a downtown mall a few years ago when he was the raptors GM. Met Jamaal Magloire a few weeks ago at Nike Battlegrounds. Nothing Serious!
I've never really met a pro bball player, sadly. I had way too many opportunities also, but I was too young. My uncle was the Bulls' team doctor during a lot of their championship years, so he had connections up the wazoo (great word). Bill Weninton would have came to my grandpa's funeral, but he had a game (he didn't know him very well anyways)
Michigan State - I have hung out with Zach Randolph, Morris Petterson, Jason Richardson, and pretty much every other Spartan. Literally hung out. All-American Charlie Bell stopped by my house when they came to Memphis to play in the tourny. Last time the Blazers played here Zach talked to someone and got me second row floor seats. Grizzlies - I have met them all, but none of them really know me like the Michigan State guys do. Jason Kidd - I have met him five times. My idol.
i met Tracy McGrady when he was in toronto. he signed an autograph on my basketball for me while i attended an open practice. i also met Antonio Davis at a basketball clinic He also signed an autograph on another one of my basketballs and he also signed a poster of him for me. A year after i met MoPete at a basketball clinic too! he signed an autographed poster for me. Then i got the opportunity to see Lamond Murray a few days ago as well as Raptors new head coach Kevin O'neal. they both signed autographs on a poster for me. I met Leo Rautins, a basketball anaylst for the toronto raptors and a former phili and atlanta player. i met him 3 times. im pretty lucky to have met so many players. unfortunately i havent gotten an opportunity to meet any from other teams (other than tmac but i met him when he was with toronto).
My dad was on a flight like 2 weeks ago and Horace Grant was three rows ahead of him. He got his autograph.
I met Mike Sweeney of the Royals because I was in his brothers 3rd and 5th grade class. But that really has nothing to do with basketball LOL

I met a lot of the sonics in the 96 Finals Run. I met Shawn Kemp a lot when He played for the sonics.

I met EWILL when he was at a red light in his black hummer, I met Batties brother hes fucking huge...the coolest celtics is def. walter mccarty..he actually sang for me and my friends. I met theo ratliff when the hawls were in town, and ray allen when the bucks were in boston
i gave starbury pounds and told him i loved his game at a bar in vancouver when the grizz were still there. he was drinkin heinekken...had ice in his ear the size of a golf ball...lol. he said to me "thanx dawg thanx dawg" now thats what i call an encounter
