I know it's old news now, but there were rumors circulating regarding the final foul by Jermaine O'Neal. There was speculation saying that he was instructed to foul by Isiah Thomas. Do you think there is any truth to this?

Nah, just hear say from people around during the Jordan versus Thomas days...I guess more of an "urban legend" type thing. I was just curious though.

wow, haha. i actually do hate jermaine for fouling bryant at the 3-point-line that game... i htink kobe shouldve just missed one purposely for MJ... but i guess that goes against what basketball is all about... and it would really piss off the anti-MJ fans...

my two cents is my two cents.

i think isiah has more class then that. if anything the refs just shouldnt have called the foul, its not like he clobbered kobe.

Why should Kobe have bricked the last shot on purpose? Jordan's pride and competitiveness would never have allowed him to accept an ok-it's-the-GOAT's-last-ASG-so-let's-just-let-him-win position from the West.

Exactly, Jordan didn't even want to accept the spot as a starter from VC.
