this dvd rocks... i've always liked AI, but I never knew he's that thugged out, but knowing it makes me appreciate him even more cuz this man's for real, he never forgets where he comes from even after he is rich... i'd had no idea he was going through all the criticism about him being him that hard, and the fact that that never changed him a bit just made me respect him... he plays hurt, man, and when I saw him play hurt, throwing his body around in getting his team to the finals in 2001, seriously it made me cry, cry with respect and admiration... also when dave stern game him his mvp trophy... that was the ultimate gesture that the league was starting to appreciate players beyond their skins it's real good because it's what it's supposed to be about.... ai, you for real, you aint arrogant, you down, you opened the door for those tat-crazed players, thanks ai thank you!!!!! what? you haven't finished it? that's cool, but you should... i only bought it three days ago and i've seen it 2.5 times... the 0.5 was i watched half-way while having my lunch and turned it off cuz i was gonna play ball... and of course, pat croce (where is this guy nowadays?) i guess he was good for Philly when he was still around.. he's always energetic and i guess since he left, the mood also left sixers too... man, he was important, he brought the team together in critical moments... he's ice breaker, he's funny, i guess ai's most comfortable with him in that organization too bad he's gone...

I have this DVD and its the best DVD I own, it really goes to show you how hard of a life he had. How he thought basketball was soft and didnt wanna goto practice, and then he went and turned into a star. The whole DVD was crazy. It also makes you think about much sh!t he goes through with the media and everything. A.I. is the true baller.

[IMG]</div>I agree with everything you said. This was the first DVD I bought, back on the day it came out, and I didn't even have a DVD player at the time. But AI has been my favorite player since the 94-95 season when he was at Georgetown. Back then I didn't really know anything about him, I just liked his game and his never give up attitude. And the more I got to know about him, the more I respected him. I consider myself a hardcore fan and it's been nice to watch him progress as a player and a man, I've been holdin' it down for him through it all. Through the gun charges, the drug charges, the hit and run charges, the MJ drama, the ballhog charges, the uncoachable charges, everything. And through it all, AI emerges stronger than ever and shows everybody what can be done with a little determination and alot of talent.

If you guys like the DVD, you should check out the book "Fear No One" I have that one and read it in a couple days cause it's so interesting that it's hard to put down. I'm gonna go see if I can find "Only the Strong Survive" today.

I saw "only the strong survive" in my local sportsbook store... i guess it was a hard cover with AI going topless (showin off his tats) with black background... for the book thing, I always like those small but thick ones so you can easily carry them anywhere you go, like Shaq's "Shaq Talks Back" and the Fab Five... the latter is the best ball book I've ever read... also looking forward to getting LeBron's "Believe the Hype" by SLAM man Ryan Jones, I just hope this book is small and thick... but for ai's "fear no one", I think I have seen that, is it with red cover? not too sure...

I have yet to see this, I'm sure it's a good biography, but I've read about AI all I can, so this stuff would be nothing new to me.

Pat was a great man to the organization, too bad he left. The team was Larry's if he wanted someone gone, they were gone. Larry's a legend and not satisfying a legend is a big no-no. Getting rid of Pat made Larry leav them so a stupid move by him. So in some weird way, our nonexistant team chemistry is because of Larry's actions.

Why? How long is this DVD? Allen Iverson is definitely real... everything about him. He lived a sad life like his financial situation and stuff. Did anyone see the interview he had with ahmad rashad... he's really good at drawing too. he's too talented!!!
