Francis told agent he will NOT play in Orlando, that's why the deal wasn't announced sooner, the Rockets and Magic don't seem to care. WOW! I gotta be a McGrady fan now, well I won't defend his past, he WAS still a turd IMO, but now... Go T-Mac! Thoughts?
NOOOOOOO. Of all the premier players in the league, why McGrady? There is no guarantee that he would be injury-free and would take us to higher heights than Francis did. Also, the loss of Mobley as a third scoring option would hurt us eventually. Does anyone know for sure if Juwan Howard was included in the trade?

^^^ This is most likely the deal, however, look for a potential three-way deal involving Indiana or Phoenix. Because Francis is set on not donning a Magic jersey, this could potentially send Ron Artest, Al Harrington, or Joe Johnson to the Magic.
Actually he's not set on it, he doesn't want to go but he's been quoted as saying that he understands it's a business... Little update... According to a radio station in Orlando the Rockets have premission to discuss a contract extension with McGrady... The Bobcats could be a-holes and screw up the deal by drafting Howard in the expansion draft tomorrow night... Not 100% complete, but it's getting closer and closer... Should I be happy or should I throw up?
I would like to have Reece Gaines thrown in though, or Tyronne Lue if Gaines is selected by Charlotte tomorrow. We'd need one of those two to at least make up for the loss of a starting PG in Francis.
I heard: Francis/Mobley/cato/Nachbar for TMac/Howard/Lue thats the story i heard off ESPN...I also heard Andrew DeClercq could be involved as well...

He will provide you guys with a third scoring option, but also with a big contract that no team would want.
If we are still going to focus on Yao Ming on the offensive end, we could only have one player in the post that would demand shots. Howard is player who does not play outstanding defense, and needs the ball to produce offensively. Our third option needs to be a perimeter player, and I guess that it's gonna have to be Jim Jackson now.
wow, i never would have thought that this would happen, and for francis. whether this is real or not it will be a better situation for both teams..uh maybe, but anyways what a big turn around for both teams.
