<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">Last season, he didn't try to slim down. He was thin due to the stress of the rape charges and because he was recovering from injuries that didn't allow him to weight train. Once his shoulder was okay, Kobe began his weight training regime again, and he got a bit bigger as the season progressed, altho no where near where he was the season before.</div> I understand now,my mistake,I just rember on how much he slimmed down, and now it makes sense with all what was going on with him and the rape trial he didnt have anytime to do any summer training.
I got this info from a guy from LG forum who has a friend that lives in San Diego. The guy has been going to the Lakers practice almost everyday and has some cool info about what?s going on in training camp so check out the thread/site. Well in one of the emails that he wrote he said that he asked Gari Vitti about KB?s weight and Vitti told him that KB is at 226 Lbs. I thought you guys should know but sorry if it was already said. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I then saw gary vitti and asked him for an exact number on Kobe's weight and he said, "He's 226 right now but he should lose about two pounds during training camp." </div> http://forums.lakersground.net/viewtopic.p...m=1&start=40&51
Ok Kobe maybe 226 now and he does look bigger and all. But how is Corey Maggette only 228lbs when he's the same height and is so chisled? I always wondered that. He is the biggest 6'6 228 pounder I've ever seen in my life.
That's got to do with Hyperplasia. It is the splitting of muscle cells. It makes more muscle cells and makes you more powerful without adding on TOO much muscle mass. Adding a lot of muscle mass is called Hypertrophy. Obviously, there is something to do with Hyperplasia and Hypertrophy.

This might be a little off topic but in case any of y'all missed it I wanted us lakers fans to be able to see it. NBA.com polled the NBA GM's and most of them replied but not all I think it says and guess who got 100% of the votes for shooting guard? No other position got 100 percent.
